Temperatures will drop to 66°F on Saturday, making it the perfect time to breathe in the fall air on an outdoor mini-vacation. Take the short drive to in Marble Falls, Texas for the last weekend of the Sweetberry Farm (1801 FM 1980) Fall Fun Harvest.

Two hay mazes create a fun, festive challenge for adults and children alike. Stuff a scarecrow to keep those pesky black birds from taking over the yard. Pet some horses and goats, pick seasonal flowers, and have a picnic in the wide open spaces. Try some of Sweetberry Farm’s fresh, homemade ice cream; they rave about the pumpkin flavor. And bring cash, because each activity costs a small fee.

The farm is open from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Also happening Saturday night is the Dinner Detective Interactive Murder Mystery Show. Voted the Best Dinner Show in Los Angeles for four consecutive years, the show excels from its trained, improvisational actors who are scattered among the guests. You won’t know who’s in on it and who’s as clueless as you are! Solve the mystery at the Residence Inn (300 East 4th Street) at 6:15 p.m. Tickets cost $59.95 plus service fees.
