One of Ireland’s most current artists, James Vincent McMorrow is not the folksy singer everyone thought he was after his 2011 album, “Early In The Morning.” Although the album went platinum and enjoyed international success, the singer-songwriter wanted to emit a different, more modern vibe with his second album “Post Tropical,” which he released in January.
Instead of the guitar, McMorrow has embraced the keyboards and the production value his laptop can achieve. The resulting sound is soft and smooth in a familiarly acoustic way, but without the guy on a stool with a hat and a guitar. His performance is sure to dazzle and soothe.
