It’s been a busy year for Manchester Orchestra. The Atlanta rock outfit released Cope, their fourth studio album, in April. Five months later, the band returned with Hope, an album made from reworked acoustic versions of every song from Cope. Both partner albums appeared on the Billboard 200 chart, and Cope appeared in the top 20. On the day of Hope’s release, lead singer Andy Hull and his bandmates announced the Stripped Down Tour, a thirteen-city show that kicked off last weekend in Memphis. The Capital of Texas is one of those lucky thirteen.
Also a reccommendation of the Austin360 Music Picks for Tuesday, Manchester Orchestra will perform selections from their most recent albums on Tuesday at Emo’s (2015 E Riverside Dr)*. With each $24 ticket purchased, a digital download of Hope is included. Details for this special offer will be sent in an email.
Doors for the show open at 6:30 p.m.
*The show has been moved from Scoot Inn to Emo’s for weather reasons.
