Coming off of both an 11:30 a.m. set and late night performance on the third and final day of Fun Fun Fun Fest, The Digital Wild should be resting. But instead, this indie-electronic band is bringing the good people of Austin more of their smoky vocals and smooth, groovy melodies. Deborah Sengupta Stith called their Fest set “thoroughly entrancing,” and they are sure to bring the same vibes to their performance at the Continental Club on Thursday.
Joining The Digital Wild are two of its Traffic Records labelmates: Amy Cook and Girl Pilot. The show, aptly named the “Traffic Jam,” was also dubbed one of Austin360’s music picks for the week. The Whisky Sisters will get the show started during Happy Hour.
Happy Hour begins at 4 p.m., and entry is $5. The “Traffic Jam” series begins at 9:30 p.m. with Amy Cook and continues at 10:15 p.m. with Girl Pilot. The Digital Wild takes the stage at midnight. Entry to the whole show is $8.
