Fit in one last night of debauchery before beginning those optimistic resolutions. These are just a few of the New Year celebrations happening in Austin this week.

Shake It Off at the Highball

A dance party with party favors, lasers, confetti, a photo booth, and a champagne toast at midnight. The party even extends into Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar’s lobby.

Details: The Highball (1120 South Lamar) at 10 p.m. $30 general admission.

Under the Milky Way at Elysium

Featuring DJs Pumpkin Spice, Party Ghoul, and Argo and, of course, a champagne toast at midnight. Celebrate the new year midwave-style.

Details: Elysium (705 Red River) at 9:30 p.m. $5 cover charge. 21+ only.

Austin’s New Year 2015

**This event has been postponed due to anticipated inclement weather.

Hosted by the City of Austin, this family-friendly party has interactive art projects, outdoor film screenings, live music, and a fireworks finale at 10 p.m.

New Beers Eve at Hopfields

One of many Gatsby-style twenties-themed parties happening on this night, Hopfields will offer two ticket options: a dinner ticket and a late-night ticket. The dinner ticket includes a four-course, prix fixe dinner, and both include late night snacks and free bubbles at midnight.

Details: Hopfields (3110 Guadalupe St) from 6 p.m.-1 a.m. $35 without dinner, $80 with dinner.

Esther’s Follies New Year’s Eve: Havin’ A Ball!

Ring in the new year with a laugh, courtesy of Esther’s Follies’ sketch comedy recap of 2014. Both of the night’s shows will include hors d’ouvres, party favors, and champagne toasts.

Details: Esther’s Follies (525 E. 6th St) at 8 & 10:30 p.m. Tickets $55.

Masquerade Ball benefiting Austin Dog Rescue

If one of your resolutions is to give more to charity, you can check it off your list before the year even begins. The proceeds of this Masquerade Ball, held by Chica About Town, benefit the Austin Dog Rescue.

Details: Palmer Events Center (8104 Exchange Dr) from 8 p.m.-1 a.m. Tickets $85 in advance or $150 for couples. $100 day of.

Midnight Rodeo NYE Party

Not much detail is given about this party, but it’s one of the few free events we can find. But this offer only stands before 10 p.m.!

Details: Midnight Rodeo (2201 E. Ben White Blvd) at 8 p.m. Free until 10 p.m., $7 after 10 p.m.
