Local Austinite Rob Jones won a Grammy in 2011 for his packaging design of Jack White’s Under Great White Northern Lights, and he’s more recently worked with bands like The Raconteurs, Arcade Fire, and the Arctic Monkeys. Beginning this weekend, The South Austin Popular Culture Center will display a selection of his works from the beginning of his career to now.

Jones’ is best known for his chaotic collages on gig posters that are reminiscent of the 1960s and 70s psychedelic style. His critically acclaimed work is never boring.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, January 17, and runs through March 28. SouthPop’s regular hours are Thursday-Sunday, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
