Since J.M. Barrie wrote the famous play in 1904, we’ve seen Peter Pan recreated hundreds of times (most recently by Allison Williams in Peter Pan Live! on NBC). We thought we know everything about the magical, ageless boy until Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson wrote ‘Peter and the Starcatchers,’ a series of books chronicling the adventures of Peter Pan before Wendy and her brothers came to Neverland. The books were then adapted for the stage by playwright Rick Elice, and the resulting show won five Tony Awards during its 2012 Broadway run.

This season, Zach Theatre has recreated the award-winning play for the Topfer Theatre. A dozen actors play more than 100 characters from Barrie’s ‘Peter Pan,’ and you can catch the show Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. Tickets range from $50-$73.
