The modern quilt movement has reached Austin, as shown by the membership growth of the Austin Modern Quilt Guild in the past year. And now, the Austin Convention Center plays host to QuiltCon 2015, an international conference and quilt show.

Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. is the last chance to catch the quilt show. With five different, themed exhibits and prizewinning quilts in 15 categories, QuiltCon offers the best in quilting from around the world. Experienced quilters and those who are unfamiliar with the art will be exposed to some of the finest works available.

Tickets for admission to Sunday’s quilt show and the vendor hall are $10 for non-members of the Modern Quilt Guild, $8.50 for members.
