Beauty Meets Fashion: Shop for a Cause. An official Austin Fasion Week soiree featuring Navi Bleu high fashion clothing and Rekha Ayurveda skin care. A percentage of sales from the collections and from drinks will benefit GirlStart. Come for the free champagne, stay for the live jazz band. 6 p.m.-9 p.m.Monday. Lux, 620 W. 6th St.

Food & Fun on the Lawn. Food trucks like Garbo’s and Chilantro will be on hand for this live concert on the lawn featuring the sounds of Dub Academy. The next door bar Buzz Mill will have beer for sale. 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday. South Shore District, 1333 Shore District Dr.

Hot Mess Grand Opening Party. The Historic Scoot Inn celebrates the launch of its new food truck with discounted prices all night long. And of course, there’s live music. 9 p.m. Wednesday. Historic Scoot Inn, 1308 E. 4th St.

Austin Sketch Smash. Local sketch comedy groups are teaming up for a night of bottles smashing on people’s heads. (They say they’re serious. I guess we’ll find out.) 7 p.m. Thursday. Spider House Ballroom, 2908 Fruth St.

Round Rock Cultural Fest. Celebrate the diversity of Central Texas through music, dance, activities, food, and crafts. 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday. Centennial Plaza, 301 W. Bagdad.

Waller Creek Pop-Up Picnic. Purchase a picnic basket from one of Austin’s top restaurants ($30-$150) or bring your own. The event benefits the Waller Creek Conservancy, hoping to develop corridors of connection for East and West Austin. 6:30 p.m. Saturday. Palm Park, 601 E. 3rd St.

KUTX 98.9 Live Music Series. The annual outdoor music celebration continues with a performance from Water and Rust. 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Sunday. Uncle Billy’s Smokehouse & Brewery, 1530 Barton Springs Rd.
