As part of Fun Fun Fun Fest’s tenth anniversary celebrations, the genre fest staff has teamed up with the Bullock State of Texas History Museum to produce this year’s Music Under the Star free summer music series. The family friendly shows will take place over three nights in July from 6 to 9 p.m. on the museum’s Lone Star Plaza.

The lineup for this year’s series reflects the eclectic aesthetic of the festival. The events kick off on July 10 with Latin funk ensemble Brownout and rising pop superstars Sweet Spirit who come back to town off a successful tour with Spoon next week. The following week singer-songwriter Ben Kweller is paired with excellent folk rockers East Cameron Folkcore and the final show will find costumed experimental jazz ensemble Golden Dawn Arkestra joining forces with art rockers Octopus Project.

Fun Fun Fun Fest takes place from Nov. 6-8 at Auditorium Shores in downtown Austin.
