Photographer Dan Burkholder was an early experimenter when in the 1990s he began to combine digital technology with classic darkroom techniques.
Included in a new exhibit at Photo Méthode Gallery are Burkholder’s images of Texas in which digital negative are printed using platinum/palladium darkroom methods and a mixture of gold leaf to create an ethereal two-tone effect.
