The second weekend of this bilingual showcase, which features compelling new works staged by Austin Latino theater mainstays, will focus on two plays by Rupert Reyes, “Two Souls and a Promise” and “Crossing the Rio.”
The first play takes a look at reincarnation, Latino style, that explores what happens to us when we die. And the second play, about the billion-dollar fence between the U.S. and Mexico border, was inspired by the idea of writing a comedic bilingual farce.
