At long last, Georgetown’s first brewery is opening on Saturday with mainly German-style beers, like a hefeweizen and a weizenbock, that will follow Reinheitsgebot, or the German purity law that states beers should be made only with malt, hops, yeast and water.
The opening will include food trucks, tailgate games and possibly live music. Note that you’ll probably want to bring a camp chair or two for outside seating. The brewery is also dog-friendly.
