The Austin Fermentation Festival is an educational event that celebrates all things fermented in Central Texas (and, since some of our favorite things are made through fermentation, from cheese to beer, it’s a fun process to learn about).
The day will include a series of fermentation workshops, a community culture swap, fermented foods and product vendors, book sales, a mini farmers’ market and live music. Plus, you can enjoy a festival-inspired lunch made by local purveyors and fermented beverages and alcohol.
Details: 9 a.m. doors Sunday. $25-$45. Barr Mansion, 10463 Sprinkle Road. texasfarmersmarket.org/austin-fermentation-festival.
