Monday’s event pick: BarkHappy’s Films with Fido

Tuesday, September 29, 2015 is National Coffee Day. JohnMark Robbins soaked in some morning sunlight at the Quickie Pickie in East Austin while sipping his coffee with his dog, Walter. Some places offered free or reduced price coffee and #nationalcoffeeday is even a trending hashtag on Twitter. LAURA SKELDING/AMERICAN-STATESMAN

It’s not every day that you and your pup can socialize at the same time. While you’re watching the second installment of BarkHappy’s Films with Fido series — a screening of “Beethoven” — your four-legged family member will be able to hang out with other dogs on the Park’s covered patio (as long as they’re all leashed).

A $5 ticket, part of which will benefit Austin Pets Alive, will get you a bag of popcorn, a dog treat and a raffle ticket for the chance to win cool prizes.

Details: 7:30 p.m. Monday. $5. The Park on South Lamar, 4024 S. Lamar Blvd. eventbrite.com/e/barkhappy-films.
