The Mexican-American experience, with all its cultural complexities, isn’t always easy to understand. Through music, though, multiple Grammy winners Los Lobos have let listeners into their own Mexican-American experience. Now, the East Los Angeles musicians want to pay homage and educate audiences about influential Mexican-Americans throughout history.
This “Fiesta Mexico-Americana” show brings together music, imagery and dance, with special guests Ballet Folklorico Mexicano, also from California.
Details: 8 p.m. Thursday. $10-$48. 2350 Robert Dedman Drive. texasperformingarts.org.
