Taste oysters in just about every way imaginable at this festival that pays tribute to one of our favorite types of seafood. Executive Chef Chris Bauer of Eddie V’s presents a variety of Gulf and East Coast oysters on the half shell, grilled, roasted, fried, in gumbo and more, with creole barbecue shrimp, shrimp po’boys, gruyere fritters and pommes frites accompanying them.
While you munch, listen to the sounds of Americana, bluegrass and Cajun all day long from local bands, including the Bottom Dollar String Band, Chansons et Soûlards, and the Showmen Bluegrass Extraordinaire. There will also be games, raffles, drinks and more.
