“Notes on the Classification of Spectral Lines, the Art of Water Writing, and Other Important Ephemera” is an Austin-produced play that will have a four-day run on stage after a successful debut at Fusebox Festival in April. Contributed by Stephen Pruitt.

This play that debuted at Fusebox Festival earlier this year is part jigsaw puzzle, part campfire story, part exploration of hidden history and part ridiculous adventure. Created with all the technical elements exposed on stage, collaborators Stephen Pruitt and Rebecca Whitehurst play the parts of performer, designer and stage manager all in the open.

They zig-zag between lecture, dance and storytelling, while simultaneously creating an intimate connection with the audience.

Details: 8 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday-Saturday. $15 suggested price. Salvage Vanguard Theater, 2803 Manor Road. catastrophearts.org.
