Tuesday’s event pick: “Living Springs” 4th Annual Full Moon Screening Series

Hayes Atkins, 8, decided to wait for others to jump first before he joined them at Barton Springs Pool on Monday, September 7, 2015. The large group jump was held by ABGB, who paid entrance fees for the first 500 people to arrive, to support the efforts of Friends of Barton Springs Pool. The documentary series about the history, science and culture of Barton Springs will host a public screening featuring short videos, including “Lifeguards,” a playful behind-the-scenes look at the job of the men and women in red, and “The Reflecting Pool,” which recounts the springs from 1912-1962. Gather before dusk near the big tree at the south entrance; the screening will begin when it’s completely dark.

After the screening, jump into Barton Springs for a full moon swim.
